What better way to root for the Indians than to know that every time they hit a home run this season, The Gathering Place will benefit. Talk about a win / win!We are thrilled that SportsTime Ohio and STO Charities has chosen to partner with The Gathering Place again for the Cleveland Indians 2010 season. Special thanks to Rick Manning and Matt Underwood for making personal pledges of $5 for each home run that the Indians hit during the regular season and to SportsTime Ohio for matching those pledges. In addition, this season, Great Clips is again offering an additional $50 per home run the Indians hits!!!
This exciting promotion began during the 2008 season when Rick and Matt pledged $1 per run the Indians scored and STO matched those pledges. Last year, they changed the promotion to be $5 per home run, Great Clips joined in and the promotion raised over $12,500 to help keep all of our programs and services free of charge. We are thrilled that Rick, Matt, all of our friends at STO and Great Clips are again invloved in supporting our work and helping to ensure that more people in our community are aware of The Gathering Place. Rick and Matt have become wonderful ambassadors and we are so appreciative of their support.
